Alan B. Hale - President - Facilitator - Executive Leadership Coach

Alan serves as the President of 12∙6 Advisors, and is an accomplished entrepreneur, consultant, and executive coach. With a career that first started as a newspaper delivery boy at age 13, he served in the Navy with a P3 anti-submarine squadron, and then joined his family's small business. As co-owner of their travel 

company, the team grew it into a national powerhouse with several hundred employees and a national stature. He sold his interest in the company in 2004, and embarked on a five year stint as a consultant and advisory board leader. He then purchased a struggling e-commerce travel company and built its sales 30% per year for 9 years until selling to the world's largest competitor in the industry. Since 2018, he has been leading both TwelveSix Advisors and Carbriwalk Corporation.

However, his business life was not without challenges, like so many small business entrepreneurs. He is experienced in family business struggles, challenges with business growth, unforeseen events (9-11, Pandemic), and small business cash flow issues. He has also dealt with personnel challenges and personal/family issues that impact one's professional life in profound ways. Over the years, Alan attributes much of his ability to "weather the storms" to his faith and his participation in peer-to-peer advisory boards.

Alan is also an experienced Executive Leadership Coach and has earned the CPLC (Certified Professional Leadership Coach) designation. With thousands of hour of professional training and coaching... and a career as a leader spanning decades, he brings practical business experience, and the education and training in coaching from PCCI, which meets ICF professional requirements.

1. Has over 30 years experience as President/Owner of two different Travel/E-Commerce companies.
2. Has over a decade of experience in consulting and coaching businesses in a broad range of industries.
3. Won the Small Businessperson of the Year (Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce).
4. Elected to the board of the USA/Canada’s largest, 2000+ travel industry co-operative.
5. Selected to the board of the travel industry’s accreditation and continuing education entity.
6. Recognized Keynote Speaker and Author on customer service, leadership, e-commerce, and the travel industry. 
7. Flew in the Navy during the Reagan years after commissioning at Vanderbilt University (NROTC). Retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves. 
8. Serves as Chairman/President of Carbriwalk Corp., a holding company for other businesses, and a certified Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
9. Volunteer to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and First Connection mentor.
