Ethics - Principles. Our Beliefs.

12∙6 Advisors pledges to hold their company, officers, and team members to the highest possible ethical standards. These commitments are and were not taken lightly, and truly form the foundation of our management, consulting, coaching, and personal interactions with each other, and most importantly, with our clients. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to always demonstrate professionalism, while engaging with others in a way that reflects behaviors consistent with how each of us wishes to be treated. The following paragraphs provide more details and some guidance; however, the spirit of these statements is to be ethical in all we do.

1. Integrity and Confidentiality

Our team will demonstrate strong moral principles and honesty in all that we do. Our clients can expect to be treated with respect, and that all communication between our team and the client will be held in absolute confidence. *

2. Professional Competence

All management and front-line employees of our company assigned to work with and for our clients will be trained, experienced, and competent in the services contracted by the client. When appropriate, our team shall also have the necessary certifications and/or licenses, to fulfill the responsibilities of the contracted services. All engagements will be managed by an Agreement that will provide structure and timelines for our services.

3. Respect and Dignity

Clients can expect to be treated with respect and dignity at all times. Our goal is to ALWAYS emulate the “golden rule.”  

4. Leadership Coaching Limitations

When our team is engaged with a client in leadership coaching, it is imperative that the client disclose all professional coaching and therapy relationships. Coaching is not therapy. Therefore, should it become apparent that the client is in need of therapy to achieve some or most of their current professional and personal goals, our team will recommend that therapy be the emphasis. Coaching may be paused indefinitely, or for a period of time, pending approval from the client’s clinical psychologist or psychiatrist.
